Interview

I use to have a lot of people that influenced or inspired me, mostly from books. But recently when I read into religion, I’m now inspired by the Koran, by the words from God and also from the practice of the Prophet Muhammad, because that has helped me think a lot about the meaning of art, rather than the reference from the western history. I think art is about how you live life and how you raise your child, which is also an art. After the book of God, after the Prophet would be my parents and my family.

เมื่อก่อนผมมักจะได้แรงบันดาลใจจากคนต่างๆ ซึ่งส่วนมากผมอ่านมาจากหนังสือ แต่ระยะหลังเมื่อผมอ่านหนังสือในศาสนา ผมได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากคุมภีร์คูรอาน จากคำพูดของพระเจ้า และจากท่านมูฮาหมัด เพราะทั้งหมดนี้ได้ช่วยทำให้ผมคิดถึงความหมายของศิลปะ แทนทีจะอ้างอิงจากประวัติศาสตร์ตะวันตก ผมคิดว่าศิลปะคือวิธีที่คุณใช้ชีวิตและวิธีที่คุณเลี้ยงลูก ซึ่งลูกก็เป็นศิลปะอย่างหนึ่ง หากถัดมาจากหนังสือของพระเจ้าและท่านมูฮาหมัด ก็คงเป็นพ่อแม่และครอบครัวของผม
