Yamagata Wine for an aperitif, endless and variety of dishes, “Mogami” is a Kushiage restaurant and a special place for me and my husband. It was 25 years ago that we visited the home restaurant in Minami Souemon in Osaka for the first time. Then, we got married and had children. The restaurant also has been changed. Now, we know more about the history than the young staff of the restaurant. After our sons grown up, my husband and I alone go there. Every time a staff gives us a Temari of folk craft as a souvenir at check. I keep them in this bottle. Even if either of us has been gone, the other would come this restaurant with this bottle.

“今年の誕生日、山梨在住の友達にもらったTシャツです。私のトレードマークをモチーフにプリントしてくれたものです。数年前の誕生日は、別の友達に歯ぐきケーキを作ってもらいました。私は高校の頃から歯ぐきを褒められてきましたが、誕生日を重ねるごとに、家に歯にまつわる物が増えています。卒業してから、友達は各地に散り散りになりましたが、歯にまつわる物を見つける度に、私を思い出してくれる友達を、これからも大切にしていきたいです。
