The incident in the three southern border provinces (Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat Provinces) has affected all aspects, whether they are economic, social spheres of people and eventually the way of life. As a result, the areas have become the sensitive zone and are consequently placed under the strict surveillance of the government. Although various parties involved have tried to solve the problems continuously in terms of the ability of personnel in and outside areas along with the spending of enormous budget, however these attempts have not made the loss become less. On the contrary, the violence has intensified in every moment, causing the loss of life and property as well as the economic ruin and shaky stability until becoming national issues.

The origin of problems has existed since a long period of time. The real causes and the appropriate method of solving the problems for existence of the population who live in the areas have not clearly been known. Innocent people, government officials of different parties as well as the groups who apply violence have been involved in countless casualties, hence causing the paranoid suspicion in the daily living of those who remain alive in such areas. These events have been presented as report with the specification of target as civilians with inability to realize who may be the next victims. The forms of violence have been developed with even more brutality. The government has implemented the policy of response to the said violence by the dispatch of military, police forces and officials to control the areas at full capacity. The checkpoints for interception have been set up in rural remote areas, villages, subdistricts, including districts. But the consequences reveal that no matter they are military, police officers or officials, they have been ambushed and brutally murdered with no exception of even one day. People have been all affected. These issues are hot topics, which are well known around the world as the unrest in the three southern border provinces.

At the same time, the individuals have come together to work with no thought of escaping from the areas of turmoil to protect their own homeland for survival just because of the task that involves the responsibility and the conscious mind of love for homeland for the sake of people with willingness to live in the areas without going away. The person to be referred to is the father who lives in the area. This person is exemplary, impressive. That person always keeps encouraging everybody and is the only one who is my inspiration.

จากเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบใน 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ (จังหวัดปัตตานี ยะลา นราธิวาส) ส่งผลกระทบไปทุก ๆ ด้าน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคมของประชาชน และท้ายที่สุด ต่อวิถีชีวิต ส่งผลให้กลายเป็นพื้นที่อ่อนไหว จึงอยู่ในการเฝ้าระวังของรัฐบาลอย่างเข้มงวด แม้ว่าผู้เกี่ยวข้องหลายฝ่ายพยายามแก้ปัญหาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งในด้านความสามารถของบุคคลากรในพื้นที่ นอกพื้นที่ และการทุ่มงบประมาณมหาศาล แต่ก็ยังไม่ทำให้ความสูญเสียนั้นลดน้อยลงไป กลับทวีความรุนแรงขึ้นทุกขณะ สูญเสียทั้งชีวิตและทรัพย์สินตลอดจนเศรษฐกิจที่ย่อยยับและความมั่นคง จนกลายเป็นปัญหาระดับชาติ ซึ่งมีสาเหตุมายาวนาน ไม่เป็นที่ทราบอย่างแน่ชัดว่าที่จริงแล้วเกิดจากสิ่งใด วิธีแก้ปัญหาควรเป็นเช่นไร เพื่อการดำรงอยู่ของประชากรผู้ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ ประชาชนผู้บริสุทธิ์ เจ้าหน้าที่รัฐฝ่ายต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งกลุ่มผู้ซึ่งใช้ความรุนแรง ก็บาดเจ็บล้มตายไปแล้วนับไม่ถ้วน ทำให้ต้องสูญเสียการดำเนินชีวิตในแต่วันอย่างหวาดระแวงของผู้ที่ยังคงเหลืออยู่ในพื้นที่นั้นและเหตุการณ์นี้ก็ยังถูกนำเสนอเป็นรายวัน มีเป้าหมายเป็นพลเรือน ซึ่งไม่อาจรับรู้ได้ว่ารายต่อไปจะเป็นใคร มีการพัฒนารูปแบบของความโหดเหี้ยมมากยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งรัฐบาลได้มีนโบายการตอบโต้ความรุนแรงนั้นโดยการนำกองกำลังทหาร ตำรวจและเจ้าหน้าที่เข้าไปควบคุมดูแลพื้นที่อย่างเต็มกำลังความสามารถ มีการตั้งด่านสกัดทั้งในชนบทถิ่นกันดาร หมู่บ้าน ไปจนถึงในตัวอำเภอเมือง แต่ผลตอบรับที่ได้รับคือ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตำรวจ ทหารหรือเจ้าหน้าที่กลับถูกลอบทำร้ายและถูกสังหารอย่างโหดเหี้ยมไม่เว้นแต่ละวัน ล้วนแล้วแต่ได้รับผลกระทบทั้งสิ้น ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นร้อนที่รู้จักกันทั่วโลก ในนามของเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบใน 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ในขณะเดียวกันนั้น บุคคลที่ได้ร่วมใจกันปฏิบัติหน้าที่กันอย่างไม่คิดจะหนีจากพื้นที่ๆ เกิดเหตุการณ์อยู่เสมอ เพียงเพื่อที่จะปกป้องพื้นที่บ้านเกิดของตนให้อยู่รอด เพียงเพราะหน้าที่การงานที่จะต้องรับผิดชอบ และสำนึกในการรักบ้านเกิดเพื่อประชาชนแล้ว ยอมที่จะอยู่ในพื้นที่เช่นนี้อย่างไม่หนีหาย ซึ่งบุคคลที่จะกล่าวถึงนี้คือ บิดา เป็นบุคคลที่ใช้ชีวิตในพื้นที่ เป็นบุคคลตัวอย่าง เป็นบุคคลที่ประทับใจ เป็นบุคคลที่ให้กำลังใจแก่ทุกคนอยู่เสมอ และเป็นบุคคลเดียวที่เป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้กับข้าพเจ้า
