31 century museum in kanazawa

The activity of Korinbo Harbour from 2002 to 2005 started at the building that used to be a movie theatre called Plaza theatre. A party invited world-class artists, Kenji Yanobe and Rirkrit Tiravanija, was hold in October, 2004, when 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, opened. There was no old Plaza theatre anymore, but the drawing by Yanobe on the wall of the building reminds us that the night was a realized miracle meeting.

ベニヤ板にドローイング

香林坊ハーバーの活動は2002年から2005年の移転までプラザ劇場という映画館を改装した建物で始まりました。2004年10月の金沢21世紀美術館開館時に、金沢に滞在していたヤノベケンジとリクリット・ティラヴァーニャという世界的アーティストを招いたパーティーが行われました。旧プラザ劇場はもうありませんが、ヤノベさんが最後に建物の壁に描いたドローイングは奇跡的な邂逅となった夜のことを今に伝えています。
