My dream was to be a novelist when I was a elementary school student. When the dream came true, I received this memorial thing after the title of my first novel by a senior novelist. That is an ornament of owl made by swalovsky crystal. There are so many distresses and sufferings in writing novels. Whenever I distress myself, I have incentive to remember the happiness at that time as looking over this.

私の小学生の頃からの夢は小説家になる事でした。その夢が叶った時、先輩作家の方から、私のデビュー作品のタイトルにちなんだ記念品として頂きました。スワロフスキークリスタルの「ミミズク」です。小説を書く事は悩み苦しむことも多々あります。そのたびにこの「ミミズク」を見て、あの時の嬉しかった気持ちを思い出して励みにしています。
