In Showa era 57 (1982）, I inherited a second-hand motor boat for one ride from my brother in law, the name is Dinky. The body of the boat is heavily spoiled. However I repaired it as possible as I could. I have taken part in the national competition where people were with the boats in latest model. The boat to me was like a child brought up with affection, and also a comrade struggled together for me. The boat is still used at the front line as a practice for high school students.

中古艇ディンキー

昭和57年頃、義兄から譲り受けた一人乗りの中古艇。艇体はかなり傷んでいたが、できる限りの手入れをし、最新艇に交じって全国大会に出場したこともあった。自分にとっては、手をかけ育てた子どものようでもあり、共に戦った同志でもあった。現在も、高校生の練習艇として現役で活躍している。
