Short Film

This movie is about one of my friend who at first followed his parent’s instruction to become an accountant. He felt really bad about it, he just want to do things that he loved but not for what the other people order you to do. He is just like other high school kids who want to follow his dream to the end. One day, he realizes that Art is what he living for. After many years that he’s been in art class, finally he found what he’s good at and loved it. So he made a decision that he will become one of the artists. But his father didn’t agree with my friend’s thought. His father said that it is really difficult for the artist to become famous and it’s not a good job. My friend really had a hard time with that. In the end, he was just going for his dream by registering an art university by fighting with his parents. I talked to his father. Once, his father seems to be not proud of my friend because he enters the art faculty. His father tries to humiliate him by teasing him all the time. I feel really sorry for my friend. When the time pass by, my friend gaining more experience and tactics which make him now an artist whose work really been accepted and loved by many art critics. I saw his father’s change; he now understands my friend that if he does what he loved, he will do it very well. After all that, I saw his father was really proud of him and I feel proud of him too. I think that this one of my friend is really a great person who not give up for what he loved. He inspired me with his motivation. So that I now want to do just like him to do the job that I like by making parents understand. I know it is really for the others because nowadays parents just want their children to be doctors or engineers. You just have to show them your potential and what you are capable of. They will understand and be proud of you, when you do the things you loved.

หนังเรื่องนี้เกี่ยวกับเพื่อนคนหนึ่งของผมที่ตอนแรกทำตามคำแนะนำของพ่อแม่ในการจะเป็นนักบัญชี เขารู้สึกแย่มาก เพราะเขาอยากทำในสิ่งที่เขารัก ไม่ใช่ทำตามสิ่งที่คนอื่นบอกให้ทำ เขาก็เหมือนนักเรียนม.ปลายอื่นๆที่อยากทำตามความฝันของตัวเองให้ถึงที่สุด วันหนึ่ง เขาพบว่าเขาอยากใช้ชีวิตเพื่อศิลปะ หลังจากหลายปีของการเข้าเรียนวิชาศิลปะ ในที่สุดเขาก็พบสิ่งที่เขาถนัดและรัก ดังนั้นเขาจึงตัดสินใจที่จะเป็นหนึ่งในศิลปินทั้งหลาย แต่พ่อของเขาไม่เห็นด้วยกับความคิดนี้ พ่อเขาบอกว่ามันยากมากสำหรับศิลปินที่จะดัง และมันเป็นอาชีพที่ไม่ดี เพื่อนของผมผ่านเรื่องนั้นอย่างยากลำบาก แต่ท้ายสุด เขาก็เลือกทำตามความฝัน สอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยที่เกี่ยวกับศิลปะ และทะเลาะกับพ่อแม่เกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้ ผมเคยคุยกับพ่อเขาครั้งหนึ่ง และดูเหมือนพ่อจะไม่ค่อยภูมิใจที่ลูกสอบติดคณะเกี่ยวกับศิลปะ พ่อของเขาพยายามเยาะเย้ยเขาโดยการแซวเขาอยู่เสมอ ผมรู้สึกเห็นใจเพื่อนผม เมื่อเวลาผ่านไป เพื่อนของผมมีประสบการณ์และเทคนิคมากขึ้น ซึ่งทำให้เขากลายเป็นศิลปินที่ถูกรักและยอมรับจากนักวิจารณ์หลายคน ผมเริ่มเห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงของพ่อเขา ตอนนี้เขาเข้าใจแล้วว่า หากเพื่อนผมทำในสิ่งที่รักแล้ว ก็จะทำได้ดีมาก หลังจากที่ผมเห็นความภูมิใจของพ่อเขาแล้ว ผมก็ภูมิใจในตัวเพื่อนผมเช่นกัน ผมคิดว่าเพื่อนผมคนนี้ เป็นคนที่เยี่ยมมากในการไม่ล้มเลิกกับสิ่งที่เขารัก เขาได้ให้แรงบันดาลใจกับผมด้วยความกระตือรือร้นของเขา ผมอยากจะทำในสิ่งที่ผมรักเหมือนเขาโดยการทำให้พ่อแม่เข้าใจเรา ผมรู้ว่าอันที่จริงแล้วการที่พ่อแม่อยากให้เราเป็นแพทย์หรือวิศวะกรทุกวันนี้ ก็เพื่อผู้อื่น เราเพียงต้องแสดงให้พ่อแม่เห็นถึงศักยภาพและความสามารถของเรา แล้วพวกเขาจะเข้าใจและภูมิใจในตัวเรา ที่เราได้ทำในสิ่งที่เรารัก
