130 : A Kimono

130----Masae Seto

My mother passed away at 63 years old, and she was born in Taisho era 6 (1918). I was astonished that it had been for 30 years. She wore in Kimono all the time. Our family business was craft work by Japanese lacquer, so she also assisted them. Even then she wore Japanese apron on Kimono. I recall the picture of her working hard with covered Japanese towel on her head momentarily. When her relics portioned to her family, I received her everyday clothes, Kimono as her remembrance. I pleased to get this occasion to recollect it that keeps in closet for a long time.
