แรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์

ผมประสบอุบัติเหตุข้อมือหักขณะเล่นกีฬาและถูกนำตัวส่งไปที่โรงพยาบาล ศิริราช ระหว่างที่รอผลวินิจฉัยของแพทย์ผมทบทวนถึงผลที่จะตามมาขณะที่ต้องรักษา ตัว นั้นคือกิจกรรมหนึ่งที่ไม่อาจทำได้เลยเมื่อขาดมือข้างซ้ายไป สิ่งนั้นคือการเล่นกีต้าร์ ดนตรีคือสิ่งที่ผมโปรดปรานและมันคือจุดเริ่มต้นของการตระหนักถึงการที่ผมไม่เคย เห็นคุณค่าในตนเองในระหว่างที่ได้รับการรักษา แพทย์ได้ให้การแนะนำกับผมเกี่ยวกับ การบรรเทาอาการปวดซึ่งเกิดจากเลือดที่พยายามจะไปหล่อเลี้ยงบริเวณข้อมือที่หัก เป็นการกายภาพบำบัดง่ายๆ จากคำแนะนำที่ว่า ”หากเกิดอาการเจ็บปวด ให้ยกแขนขึ้น

ยกให้สูงกว่าหัวใจ” ผมพยายามมองโลกในแง่ดี ทบทวนเหตุการณ์ที่พลั้งพลาดไปและตั้งเป้าหมายใหม่ไว้เมื่อวันหนึ่งที่ ผมหายดีแล้ว คำพูดของหมอในอีกนัยของความเจ็บปวดนั้นคงเปรียบเสมือนกับเหตุการณ์ร้ายๆ ที่เราต้องเผชิญหน้า กับมัน คำว่ายกให้สูงกว่าหัวใจคงเปรียบเสมือนกับการยอมรับและคิดว่าความเจ็บปวดคงเป็นกระบวนการของฟื้นฟู เมื่อเราเรียนรู้จากความเจ็บปวด คงไม่มีอะไรสูงไปกว่าจิตใจและจิตวิญญาณในตัวเรา หากคุณทำ ความเข้าใจกับความ โหดร้ายในชีวิตคุณสักหน่อย คุณอาจจะเห็นแรงผลักดันที่ซ้อนอยู่ระหว่างที่คุณสับสนอยู่ก็ได้จึงนำเอาแรงบันดาลใจในคำ พูดของหมอมาเป็นตัวแทนในการลุกขึ้นสู้กับปัญหาในชีวิต ผ่านเพลงเพลงแรกที่ทำออกมาหลังจากที่รักษาตัวเสร็จแล้ว
