028 : Mamein (A stamp for correction)

028----Seiji Miyagawa

This “Mamein (a stamp for correction)” is a bond which ties my father and me. He used this on his job for many years. When I got my first job in 1962, he handed over this to me as a necessary thing for working. At that time, people used Soroban (abacus) and wrote by hand at work, so this Mamein was quite useful in both his and my generations. Times has changed, this Mamein has lost it’s part, but I feel like it has been watching my job performance for 47 years from a corner of my desk with my father. The entry of 31st Century Museum of Contemporary Spirit is the last job of this stamp.
