136 : A camera

136----Ichiro Hongou
本郷 一郎

My memorial thing is a single-lens reflex camera that bought by my grandfather. When I graduated from school and was looking for a job in Kanazawa, my grandfather recommended to be a bank clerk obstinately that was his occupation for my job. However I selected to be a journalist against his will. Then my grandfather bought this camera as a congratulation on my success in entrance to newspaper company. Since he is a camera mania like a professional photographer, he might be glad for my position. His selection was not wrong, the camera have supported my writer’s life for 18 years. Although he passed away after my marriage in autumn at the third years from my entrance.  I took a picture of him with this camera when he was fine.  Nowadays I consider about his warm thought.
