This performance art, Drop of Flower, focuses on the problem of Social and Cultural Isolation through individualcommunity involvement, research and analysis of significant issues surrounding the conceptual approach of art and life in Bangkok, Thailand including big cities around the world.

In this work, I am questioning the core concept and function of art in relation to being a human in this fast moving and inhumane world today. In this work, the exploration of artist’s and participant’s body as medium and cultural signifier emphasizes on stimulating senses of ambiguity and isolation for the viewer to experience or participate with this performance. By utilizing visual fragmentation through the use of impermanent material, artist’s body and un/specific sites (public spaces), this performance constructs conceptual empty space, creating a new visual investigation and newform of nonvisual communication regarding cultural and social issues for the viewer. The theoretical framework is to create the viewers’ state of paradox and ambiguity by deconstructing the viewers’ prior experience,understanding and relationship with existing cultural and social signifier and reconstructing new experience, content and context through the artist’s body and performance.

ศิลปะการแสดงนี้ให้ความสำคัญต่อการตั้งคำถามและวิพากษ์ถึงปัญหาความ แปลกแยกทางวัฒนธรรมและสังคม โดยการทำงานร่วมกับคน/ชุมชน ผ่านกระบวนการ เก็บข้อมูลและวิเคราะห์ประเด็นสำคัญ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับมโนคติทางความคิดของศิลปะและ วิถีชีวิตในปัจจุบัน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการใช้ชีวิตในกรุงเทพและเมืองใหญ่ทั่วโลกในงานชิ้น นี้ ศิลปินตั้งคำถามต่อแก่นของความคิดและประโยชน์ของศิลปะที่สัมพันธ์กับความเป็น มนุษย์ ในบริบททางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม ท่ามกลางโลกที่เคลื่อนที่อย่างรวดเร็วแต่ขาด ซึ่งความเป็นมนุษย์ นอกจากนี้แล้วความสำคัญของศิลปะการแสดงชิ้นนี้ ยังอยู่ที่การ สำรวจร่างกายของศิลปินและผู้ร่วมแสดงในฐานะสัญญะทางวัฒนธรรมและสิ่งเร้า เพื่อ กระตุ้นผัสสะของความคลุมเครือ ย้อนแย้งและแปลก/แยก ตั้งคำถามต่อการรับรู้เดิม ผ่านการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์หรือประสบการณ์ร่วมกับศิลปะการแสดงนี้ การรื้อ/ถอนทัศน

ภาษาและการใช้วัสดุที่เปลี่ยนรูป ไม่คงทน รวมทั้งบริบทของพื้นที่ ศิลปะการแสดงชิ้นนี้ ก่อให้เกิดพื้นที่ว่างเชิงมโนคติ เป็น เงื่อนไขผลักดันให้ผู้ชมและผู้พบเห็นตั้งคำถาม ประกอบ/สร้างเรื่องราวและบริบทใหม่ของศิลปะการแสดงและประเด็นทาง สังคมในเชิงปรัชญาและมโนคติด้วยตนเอง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยงการสอสารผ่านทงวัจนทัศน์และความรู้สึกทเกิดขนโดยร่างกาย พื้นที่และการประกอบ/สร้างทางทัศนภาษาผ่านศิลปะการแสดงนี้
